1965 Fastback - Eric Webb

1965 Fastback - Eric Webb

I bought the car in 1988, it was an old east coast rust bucket and took me 11 years to bring it back to life. The first time I drove the car was two weeks before the 35th anniversary in Charlotte. We drove to Charlotte, drove the track in the intermediate class (about 110 on the back straight) and drove home. About 900 miles. At the time I had TCP control arms, the strut kit and the sub frame bars, but not the connecting grid yet. That car drove like it was on rails. Seemed like we were doing 40! Since then, the 289 is out and now I have put a 347 in there. Love that power!
